COLORIST

From NYC to LA Carol has been in the haircolor business since 1990, Carol brings a very calming demeanor and her expert eye for knowing what color hues will look best on skin tones. Most known for her very natural, sun-kissed looks, Vasquez is a senior colorist at the prestigious Chris McMillan Salon in Beverly Hills. She has also worked as a key colorist on over 100 television shows, feature films and television commercials. Doing hair color for many of today’s biggest celebrities. From Jodi Foster to Hillary Swank and Al Pacino to Matthew McConaughey, Carol has created numerous and often imitated, characters looks over the years. She prides herself with natural looking color and says, “Hair color should look like it could naturally come from your head".
 

Competitive by nature, Carol also always accepts a good color-correction challenge, knowing that her professional skills will give customers the hair color experience they originally intended to have. 
At the start of her career, Carol was mentored by Louis Licari, a hair industry icon and often referred to as “The King of Color,” in his New York City salon. After a three year grueling training period, Vasquez was given a coveted position in the Louis Licari Salon Beverly Hills when he opened his West Coast outpost in 1992. At this very busy and well-respected salon, Carol honed her coloring skills, and was even named by Licari as the Director of Education, overseeing the colorist training program for 10 years. After a wonderful fifteen year tenure at Louis Licari, Carol moved over to Chris McMillan’s salon where she now spends her days at this very popular, successful and cozy space. 

For the past 11 years, Carol has grown her core business, working along side of hair styling legend Chris McMillan and many other amazingly talented hair industry colleagues. She also now does “Great Lengths Hair Extensions" and has already been ranked #2 in the country by "Entertainment Magazine" online as one of the industries top extension artist. Carol says “there's nothing more gratifying than making someone feel great about themselves. It's what gets me to work everyday"
